I think it’s universally true that we all hate automated call answering systems. Is our call really that important to them? Is there any phrase more irritating than “please continue to hold, your call is important to us”?
Some sections of the general public really should not have to tolerate automated call answering systems. Some of us are just not able to cope with them at times. It’s not that we don’t have the patience, although sometimes we don’t. Sometimes it’s not us that are at fault.
Sometimes the system may seem brilliant on the surface, but other times you have to wonder what they were thinking?
