Privacy policy

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no privacy-friendly alternative, no pixel, no tag manager, no advertising and no profiling. Nothing on this site is measuring you.
• No cookies set by us. This site sets none at all. Google's reCAPTCHA sets its own on Google's domain, and only if you start filling in the contact form. See below.
• One form, on the contact page. It collects your name, your email address, a subject and your message, because all four are needed to reply. Nothing else, and nothing is added to any list.
• One third-party script, loaded late. Fonts, styles, images and every other script come from this domain, which is why the fonts are self-hosted rather than pulled off a font CDN. The single exception is Google reCAPTCHA on the contact page, and it is not fetched on page load: it is fetched the moment you first touch a field in the form. Read the page, and your browser never contacts Google at all.

There is no account, no newsletter, no tracking and no profiling. Two things collect anything at all, and both are things you start.

The contact form. It takes your name, your email address, a subject chosen from a list of four, and your message. Every field is required because a message we cannot reply to or route is not much use to either of us. It arrives as an email in the same inbox as support@bsolveit.com and goes nowhere else: no CRM, no mailing list, no marketing. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically answering someone who has asked us something.

reCAPTCHA, on that form only. To tell a person from a bot, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3. When it runs, Google receives your IP address and information about how you interacted with the page, and sets its own cookies on its own domain. That is Google acting as an independent controller under its own privacy policy and terms. We receive nothing back except a score between 0 and 1. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: without it the form is a spam target, and we would rather run one check than take the form down.

The script is deliberately loaded only when you first interact with the form, not on page load, so reading the contact page contacts Google no more than reading any other page does. If you would rather not involve Google at all, email us instead: the address above reaches exactly the same place.

We hold what you send for as long as it takes to deal with it, plus a record of any correction we published as a result. We keep a short log of blocked and rate-limited submissions, which holds an IP address and a reason, for security only.

This site is hosted in the United Kingdom by 365i, a trading style of the same company, on infrastructure supplied by 20i Ltd, which acts as a processor. Email is handled by our mail provider as a processor. There are no other processors, because there is nothing else to process.

No data collected by this site is transferred outside the United Kingdom other than incidentally through the content delivery network that serves the site's static files.
