The Masterclass in Showing E-E-A-T

We recently helped launch the new Lockerfella website:

https://lockerfella.co.uk

It was created by Press Forge, a sister company of 365i.

And here’s the funny bit. Press Forge is known for WordPress design and development, but Lockerfella is not a WordPress site.

Yes, I know. Scandalous. Someone fetch the smelling salts.

But my word, it flies.

On Google PageSpeed Insights, the Lockerfella homepage scored:

  • Performance: 100
  • Accessibility: 100
  • Best Practices: 100
  • SEO: 100

That’s the full 100 x 4 on mobile. Not bad for a brand-new locksmith site serving Wolverhampton, Stafford, Cannock, Birmingham, Walsall, Brewood and the surrounding areas.

But speed is only half the story.

The real reason Lockerfella works so well is that it does not feel like a generic locksmith website. It feels like Sean. It shows the person, the van, the process, the pricing approach, the training, the local knowledge, and the way he actually works.

That matters.

Google has been talking more openly about unique, helpful, non-commodity content. I wrote about that properly here:

How to Show E-E-A-T and Non-Commodity Content

The short version? Non-commodity content is content only that business could honestly write. It is not recycled service-page mush. It is not “we are your trusted local experts” repeated with a town name swapped out. It is proof, detail, local knowledge, first-hand experience and visible trust.

Lockerfella has plenty of that.

E-E-A-T and non-commodity content review

Here’s how I would score the main Lockerfella pages.

PageE-E-A-T scoreNon-commodity scoreWhy it works
Homepage92/10090/100Clear identity, no call-out fee, direct phone number, real locksmith positioning, no fake call-centre language, strong trust signals and proper local coverage.
About Sean98/10099/100This is the strongest page on the site. It gives Sean’s story, training, DBS status, insurance, workmanship guarantee, working style, favourite lock type, local property knowledge, and why he rejects inflated locksmith pricing.
Services94/10096/100Strong because it includes real call-out style examples, practical lock knowledge, pricing context, brands, standards and specific problems found on local doors.
Pricing90/10088/100Transparent pricing is a major trust signal, especially in a trade where customers are often nervous about being overcharged.
Locks We Fit91/10093/100Good technical depth. It shows actual lock knowledge rather than vague claims about “quality parts”.
Area Pages94/10095/100The area pages work because they are not just cloned location pages. The best ones include local housing stock, likely lock types, nearby villages and response expectations.

The real star is the About page:

https://lockerfella.co.uk/about

That page does a lot of heavy lifting. It explains who Sean Hamilton is, how he works, what training he has, what documents he can show, why non-destructive entry matters, what standards he fits to, and how he treats people when they are already stressed.

That is E-E-A-T in plain English.

Not “we care about trust” as a vague slogan.

Actual trust.

Why the area pages matter

The Lockerfella area pages are also doing something very important. They give Google, AI systems and customers a clear picture of where Sean works.

For example, the Brewood page is here:

https://lockerfella.co.uk/areas/brewood

That page does not just say “Locksmith in Brewood” twenty times and hope for the best. It talks about Brewood as Sean’s home village, the local ST19 coverage area, older sandstone cottages, timber doors, mortice locks, newer uPVC estates, multi-point gearboxes and the kind of lock problems he actually sees locally.

That is the difference.

Lockerfella also covers major nearby areas including:

Armitage, Baswich, Bilbrook, Bilston, Birmingham, Bishops Wood, Brewood, Brinsford, Brocton, Burntwood, Cannock, Castlefields, Chasetown, Cheslyn Hay, Codsall, Coven, Doxey, Dudley, Featherstone, Fordhouses, Four Ashes, Fradley, Gailey, Great Wyrley, Handsacre, Heath Hayes, Hednesford, Lapley, Lichfield, Little Wyrley, Norton Canes, Oxley, Pendeford, Penkridge, Rugeley, Shareshill, Shenstone, Stafford, Sutton Coldfield, Tettenhall, Tipton, Walsall, Wednesbury, Weeping Cross, West Bromwich, Wheaton Aston, Wildwood, Wolverhampton and Wombourne.

That gives the site a proper local footprint without pretending to have fake offices all over the place. Sean is based in Brewood. The site says that clearly. Then it explains the areas he can realistically cover.

That honesty matters.

Why Lockerfella started winning so quickly

Just ten days after launch in April 2026, Lockerfella became the number one result for “Locksmith Brewood” in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google Search.

That did not happen because of one magic SEO trick.

It happened because the site combines:

  • Fast technical performance
  • Clear local relevance
  • Real human identity
  • Strong service detail
  • Transparent pricing
  • Visible credentials
  • Proper area pages
  • First-hand local knowledge
  • Machine-readable structure
  • Content that actually sounds like the business

That last one is the bit too many businesses miss.

A site can be technically perfect and still feel empty. Lockerfella does not. It has fingerprints all over it. Sean’s, mostly. Which is handy, because he’s a locksmith, not a ghost.

The big lesson

Lockerfella proves something I keep banging on about.

A small local business does not need to sound bigger than it is.

It needs to sound real.

The old SEO playbook often encouraged tradespeople to hide behind bland company language. “Our team of experts.” “Your trusted local specialists.” “We pride ourselves on excellent customer service.” You know the stuff. Website porridge.

Lockerfella, the locksmith in Stafford, goes the other way.

One man. One van. One phone number. Clear pricing. Local knowledge. Real credentials. Fast site. Strong structure.

That is why the website performs.

And that is why both Google and AI systems seem to understand it so quickly.
