The brand

What Press Forge is

Press Forge is the build studio: new WordPress sites, rebuilds of old ones, WooCommerce stores, migrations and the speed work that follows. It is the newest of the group's client-facing brands and the one doing most of the current project work.

One thing to be plain about, because five trading names invite the question: Press Forge is one of three ways in to the same team. 365i Web Design and McNeece Web Design build websites too, and the same people do the work whichever name you approach. If you want a site built, pick whichever you found and do not deliberate over it.

For this site, it matters for a second reason. Press Forge publishes the case studies. When a page here quotes a page count or a disposition, the underlying account of that project is almost always a Press Forge case study, and the figure links straight to it.

The evidence

The case studies this site cites

These are the primary sources behind every figure we publish. Each one is the definitive account of that project, written by the people who did it.

  • Brewood Removals 247 URLs to about 25 pages. The doorway-sprawl diagnosis and the full 410 disposition.
  • Lincolnshire Chauffeur Services 17 pages to 23, built in 48 hours, PageSpeed 99 with every Core Web Vital green.
  • Lockerfella A new domain at 100 out of 100 on mobile PageSpeed, with 18 hand-written area pages.
  • Cordley Solutions A brand palette contrast-audited at kickoff, before any design work started.
  • Employment Law Solicitors A professional services build with a long client relationship behind it.
  • PageSpeed 100 How the 100 out of 100 results are actually achieved, written up as a method.

The method

The rule that keeps us out of each other's way

A parent company sitting on top of a studio that publishes case studies has an obvious temptation: republish the good ones. That would be a mistake, and the rule against it is written down.

This site never retells a story a brand already owns. Two pages telling the same client story, on two domains run by the same company, compete with each other for the same queries and give a reader no reason to prefer either. What the parent can publish, and no single brand can, is the pattern across the projects, because no single brand has all of them.

So the Brewood rebuild is Press Forge's story. What four rebuilds have in common, with the counts lined up beside each other, is ours. Every figure in it links down to the case study it came from. You can see the mechanism working on the work page.

The work

What Press Forge does

One correction worth recording here rather than quietly. Press Forge's about page used to describe BSolve IT Limited as founded in 2001. The register says 3 December 2002. It is the kind of small inherited inaccuracy that spreads across an estate without anyone deciding it, which is exactly why it is worth naming. It now says 2002, checked on , as does every other site in the group.
