Hi Marianna,

You can submit the website to the search engines when the site is no longer under construction. That is, if all the menu items are working and correct, there are no "under construction" type pages, and there are no broken links either internal or external.

With many websites, you could be at this stage, but still with a lot of content to add later, long before the website is completely finished. If you think you're website visitors will be happy to view and begin using the website at this stage, then you should go ahead and begin submissions.

When we develop new websites, we use a robots.txt to diallow indexing until we are ready for it. As the site nears completion, we gradually allow indexing of the pages and areas that are completed.

- Mark.
